Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn granted an audience, at Srapathum Palace, to Mr. Mongkol Surasajja, President of the Senate, along with eight delegates, to present Ms. Xian Hui, Vice Chairperson of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and her fifteen delegates, on the occasion of their visit to Thailand. On this occasion, Mr. Zhang Jianwei, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Thailand, together with his delegation also attended the audience.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the ceremony of raising the tiered umbrella over Phra Phuttha Sanphet, the principal Buddha image of the Ordination Hall, and another over Phra Phuttha Khodom, the principal Buddha image of the Viharn, before attending the gable-finial lifting ceremony of Ordination Hall at Wat Khruea Wan, Bangkok Yai District, Bangkok.

On behalf of His Majesty the King, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn laid a wreath and paid respects to King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) in remembrance of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol Memorial Day, at King Ananda Mahidol Monument, at the end of Rama VIII Bridge, Bang Phlat District, Bangkok.
