Foreign Visits

During 17 - 22 February B.E. 2568 (2025), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the Swiss Confederation.

During the Visit, Her Royal Highness' itinerary included an observation tour of the operation of Novartis International AG in Basel and, on this occasion, Her Royal Highness granted an audience to the Executive Committee of Novartis International AG who presented an overview of the company's various projects and its cooperation with Thailand. The Executive Committee also hosted a luncheon in honor of Her Royal Highness. Thereafter, in Geneva Her Royal Highness presided over the opening ceremony of the new office building of the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and to the World Intellectual Property Organization. In Addition, Her Royal Highness also visited various places of interest and viewed operations of selected institutions, namely, the Swiss Geomorphological Society, Société des Produits Nestlé SA - Nestlé Research and the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

During 4-10 April B.E. 2567 (2024), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the People’s Republic of China.

On this visit, Her Royal Highness witnessed for the signing of Memoranda of Understanding between the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation of Thailand and the China National Space Administration which included the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Exploration and Use of Outer Space for Peaceful Purposes and the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in International Lunar Research Station. The said signing was held at the Lunar Exploration and Space Engineering Center, Beijing. Moreover, Her Royal Highness also visited other places of interest, namely, China Academy of Space Technology, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Museum of the Communist Party of China, China National Arts and Crafts and Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum in Beijing, Mianyang Xianfenglu Sirinhorn Primary School in Mianyang and Sanxingdui Museum in Deyang. During this visit, Her Royal Highness granted an audience to Her Excellency Mrs. Shen Yiqin, State councilor of the People’s Republic of China and also to His Excellency Mr. Wang Yi, Member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China.

During 7 - 11 January, B.E. 2567 (2024), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the Republic of Singapore.

During the visit, Her Royal Highness attended the Opening Ceremony of the Global Young Scientists Summit 2024 at the National University of Singapore. Her Royal Highness granted an audience, on the occasion of this visit, to His Excellency Mr. Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies of the Republic of Singapore, and to His Excellency Mr. Lawrence Wong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of the Republic of Singapore. Her Royal Highness also granted an audience to His Excellency Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of the Republic of Singapore, who hosted a luncheon in honour of Her Royal Highness. On this trip, Her Royal Highness also visited places of interest, namely, the Republic Polytechnic, the Singapore University of Technology and Design, and the Asian Civilisations Museum.

On 2 November, B.E. 2566 (2023), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

During this Visit, Her Royal Highness leaded a delegation of military cadets and staff officers of the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy on a study visit of places of interest such as the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defense, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, and the Hong Kong Palace Museum.

During 12 - 15 September, B.E. 2566 (2023), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visits to Japan and to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China.

During the Visit to Japan, Her Royal Highness presided over the opening ceremony of the Nalanda Mahavihara at Nenbutsushu Sampozan Muryojuji Temple in Hyogo Prefecture.

During the Visit to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, Her Royal Highness visited certain places of interest in the West Kowloon Cultural District, namely, the M+ Museum, the Xiqu Centre and the Hong Kong Palace Museum.

During 24 – 29 June, B.E. 2566 (2023), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany

During the Visit, Her Royal Highness attended the Opening Ceremony of the 72nd Nobel Laureate Meeting, at Lidau. In addition, Her Royal Highness also visited various places of interest such as the Museum Humpis-Quartier, Schulmuseum Friedrichshafen, Hochschule Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences, Kloster Wiblingen Monastery Museum and Library, Ulmer Münster Church, Ulm Schwörhaus Museum and Archives as well as the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems.

During 12-19 May, B.E. 2566 (2023), Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the French Republic.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness presided over the Grand Opening of Musical Performance and Exhibition to honour Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra. The Events was held not only to commemorate the 100^th Anniversary of the Birth of Her Royal Highness, but also to mark the high honour conferred by the UNESCO upon Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra, giving Her Royal Highness recognition as a World Eminent Personality for her work and contribution to education, science and culture. The Musical Performance and Exibition was held at the Palais de la Bourse in the city of Lyon, and later, in Paris at the UNESCO Headquarters, and at the Missions Étrangères de Paris. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn also visited places of historical, religious and artistic importance in Lyon and in Paris.

From Sunday 17 to Tuesday 19 July 2022, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the Republic of Singapore.

During this Visit, Her Royal Highness presided over the Opening Ceremony of the 18^th Flora of Thailand Symposium at the Singapore Botanic Gardens; Her Royal Highness graced this event at the invitation of Mr. Kenneth Er, Chief Executive Office of the National Parks Board of the Republic of Singapore. On 19 July, Her Royal Highness granted an audience to His Excellency Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore, together with Madame Ho Ching, at which audience luncheon was hosted in Her Royal Highness's honour. Previously, on 18 July, an audience had been granted to His Excellency Mr. Teo Chee Hean, Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security of the Republic of Singapore, at which audience luncheon also was hosted in Her Royal Highness's honour.

From Monday 10 to Friday 14 February 2020, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the Republic of India.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness visited places of interest and observed operation of various institutions, i.e. the Golconda Fort, the Qutb Shahi Heritage Park, the
Indian Military Academy, the Arayabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences and the Devasthal Observatory.

From Thursday 3 to Saturday 5 February 2022, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the People's Republic of China.

During this Visit, Her Royal Highness attended, at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China, the opening ceremony of the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. On this trip, Her Royal Highness also granted an audience to His Excellency Mr. Wang Yi, State Councilor and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, who hosted a breakfast in honour of Her Royal Highness on 4 February 2565 at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse.

From Saturday 28 September to Tuesday 1 October 2019 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the People's Republic of China.

From Friday 18 to Monday 21 January 2019 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Republic of Singapore.

From Friday 19 to Saturday 20 August 2016 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the People's Republic of China.  

From Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 February 2012 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Republic of Portugal.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over official inauguration of the Thai Pavilion "Sala Thai" to commemorate the 500th Anniversary of the Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Portugal. Her Royal Highness later on visited the Orient Museum where the Thai cultural performance was organised at the Museum's auditorium. In addition, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously performed the "Prelude of Thai Instrument Ensemble" with the Thai classical band from the Department of Fine Arts of Thailand.

From Monday 19 to Friday 23 March 2012 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at the invitation of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on the auspicious occasion of the sixtieth anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Islamabad, Tuxila, Peshawar, Harappa and Lahore; visiting the museums, the archeological sites of religious and historical importance and the institutions in Pashawar. On Tuesday 20 March 2012 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn met with President Asif Ali Zardari of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan who bestowed upon Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn the Order of Hilal-e-Pakistan Order for her outstanding public service, promotion of international goodwill and cooperation and for her contribution to promote Pakistan-Thailand bilateral relations. President Zardari afterwards hosted the dinner in honour of Her Royal Highness at the residence of the President.

From Monday 2 to Friday 6 April 2012 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the People's Republic of China.

During this trip, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the institutions in Beijing; viewing the operation of various research academies under the supervision of Beijing University; visiting Chinese Academy of Sciences and the institutions under its supervision including the Institute of Computing Technology. On 5 April 2012, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn met with Mr Xi Jinping, Vice President of The People's Republic of China and Mr Jia Qinglin, Chairman, The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

From Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 April 2012 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, People's Republic of China.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, Lingnan University where Her Royal Highness being conferred with the Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) in recognition of Her Royal Highness's long-term commitment to and outstanding achievements in promoting cultural, social and environmental development in Thailand and other parts of the world. Her Royal Highness afterwards delivered the keynote speech on the Thai-Chinese relations at the invitation of the President of the Asia-Hong Kong Association, visiting the University of Hong Kong and the Museum of Arts.

From Wednesday 20 to Friday 22 April 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the schools which participated in the royal initiative programmes of Her Royal Highness
which included Hung Thang Primary and Secondary School and Hung Thang School at Vung Vieng Fishing Village, Ha Long District, Quang Ninh Province;
Ninh My Primary School, Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province as well as Cao Son Lower Secondary School, Da Bac District, Hoa Binh Province.

From Sunday 26 June to Friday 1 July 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid the official visits to the Federal Republic of Germany and the Republic of Austria.

During the visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the Opening Ceremony of the 61st Meeting of Nobel Laureate at Lindau. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards visited Hamburg at the invitation of the Royal Thai Honorary Consulate-General, Hamburg, visiting the University of Hamburg, International Maritime Museum and the German electron synchrotron DESY (Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron) in Hamburg.
During the visit to the Republic of Austria, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Leopold Franzens University of Innsbruck at the invitation of the President of the University, chairing the 30th Anniversary Celebrations for the academic cooperation between Thailand and Austria. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards visited the Tyrolean State Museum and the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (IQOQI), Innsbruck.
 

From Thursday 28 to Saturday 30 April 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid the official visit to the United Kingdom.

Their Majesties the King and Queen have designated Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn their representative in attending the royal wedding between Prince William of Wales and Miss Catherine Middleton at the invitation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The royal ceremony took place at Westminster Abbey in London, United Kingdom on 29 April 2011.

From Monday 3 to Sunday 9 October 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid the visits to the Kingdom of Swaziland, the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Republic of South Africa.

During the official visits to the Kingdom of Swaziland and the Kingdom of Lesotho, Her Royal Highness Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the cooperation project in academic and agricultural learning exchange between Thailand and Swaziland represented by the scholars of the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Phradabot Foundation, and the cooperation project in sustainable agriculture academic exchange  between Thailand and Lesotho represented by the scholars from the Office of the Royal Development Projects Boards supported by Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended an audience with Her Majesty The Queen Mother of Swaziland and attended an audience with His Majesty the King and Her Majesty the Queen of Lesotho.
For the visit to the Republic of South Africa, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited  “The Cradle of Humankind” world heritage site of the early human settlements, Maropeng Official Visiting Centre, Sterkfontein Caves, Hadeco Farm and Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden.

From Tuesday 25 to Saturday 29 October 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of India.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn chaired the opening ceremony of the Fifth International Conference on Vetiver on the theme "Vetiver and Climate Change" organized by the   from 28 to 30 October 2011 at the Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow, Republic of India. On this auspicious occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn chaired the presentation ceremony of the "The King of Thailand Vetiver Awards" for the most outstanding works on vetiver

On Friday 11 November 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn performed the royal engagements in the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened the office building of the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge No.3 (Nakhon Phanom-Khammouane) Immigration (Thailand office) and also opening the exhibition on the Friendship between the two countries. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn co-chaired  in the opening ceremony of the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge No. 3 (Nakhon Phanom-Khammoune) with His Excellency Mr Bounnhang Vorachith, Vice President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards paid a visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic to open the office building of the Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge No.3 (Nakhon Phanom-Khammoune) Immigration (Lao PDR office) with His Excellency Mr Bounnhang Vorachith, Vice President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards chaired the presentation ceremony of the building for medical service to the Khammoune Province Hospital and the presentation ceremony of the dormitory building to the Secondary School of Khammoune Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.
 

From Monday 4 to Tuesday 12 April 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn pays an official visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China. And from Tuesday 12 to Wednesday 14 April 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn pays a visit to the Republic of Singapore.

At the People's Republic of China, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Beijing, Chengdu, Mianyang, Chongching, Xian and Ian-an, visiting the Graduate School of the National Science Council and the Sirindhorn Xianfenglu Primary School, Mianyang. Her Royal Highness afterwards chaired the committee meeting of the Sirindhorn Thai-Chinese Science, Technology and Cultural Exchange Centre, Peking University and the Conference on science and biotechnology between Peking University and Chulalongkorn University. Upon Her Royal Highness's visits to Sichuan University, Chengdu University and Xinan University, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn was bestowed with the Honorary Professorship of the Universities.

From Sunday 13 to Friday 18 March 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the French Republic, Belgium, and United Kingdom.

At the French Republic, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn shall visit the Jardin des Plantes, the botanical garden in Paris. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards visited Belgium and attending an audience with Queen Fabiola of Belgium at Le Château du Stuyvenberg.
At the United Kingdom, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn shall visit the University of Cambridge and the University of London, attending the 20th Anniversary Celebrations event of Thai classical music in the United Kingdom.

From Monday 7 to Friday 11 March 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of India.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited places of historical and cultural importance in New Delhi, Karnataka State and Maharashtra State. On 10 March 2011, at New Delhi, Her Royal Highness granted permission to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of India to attend an audience with Her Royal Highness and hosting a luncheon in honour of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.

From Sunday 12 to Monday 20 December 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the United States of America.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Indiana University which conferred the Degree of Doctor of Humane Letters (honoris causa) upon her on Saturday 18 December 2010.

From Thursday 14 to Monday 18 October 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of Chile.

During the trip to the Republic of Chile, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the 1st Latin America Conference of Vetiver at San Tiago at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile and the President of the Vetiver Network International. Besides, Her Royal Highness visited various places of historical and architectural importance, and also chairing the opening ceremony of the Thailand Plaza Park as a commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence of the Republic of Chile and as a mark of the international relations between Thailand and Chile.

From Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 October 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to Japan.

During the trip to Japan, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn chaired the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of Nalandha University at Kobe at the invitation of the President of the Buddhism Summit. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards attended an audience with the Emperor and Empress of Japan at the Imperial Palace, Tokyo, on 12 October 2010.

From Sunday 3 to Thursday 7 October 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to The Netherlands.

During this trip to The Netherlands, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the University of Groningen, Groningen, to see the progress of the work in agricultural science. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the University of Twente, Enschede, to see the work of the Faculty of Geo-information Science and Earth Observation. Her Royal Highness also attended an audience with Queen Beatrix at the Palace Huis ten Bosch in The Hague, The Netherlands.

From Sunday 15 to Thurday 19 August 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.

During this study trip, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina , Franke Foundation, Moritzburg Castle in Halle and Handel House Museum.

From Monday 19 to Friday 23 July 2010, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the People's Republic of China.

During this trip to China, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the Opening Ceremony of the 4th International Convention for Rehabilitation Engineering & Assistive Technology (i-CREATe 2010) and attended the 4th DAAD Children's University Shanghai at the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences (SIBS), CAS, in Shanghai, China. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University and opened the Institute of Rehabilitation and the Institute of Medi-X Science at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her Royal Highness also visited the Expo 2010 Shanghai, China.
 

 From Saturday 26 June to Friday 2 July 2010, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.

During the visit to Germany, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the Opening Ceremony of the 60th Lindau Meeting of Nobel Laureates at Lindau. On this auspicious occasion, the Foundation Lindau Nobelprizewinners Meetings at Lake Constance conferred upon Her Royal Highness with the Title of the Honorary Senate  of the Council for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. Her Royal Highness afterwards attended the Meeting at the invitation of the President of the Nobel Laureate Meeting Council.
 

From Friday 25 to Saturday 26 June 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Kingdom of Belgium.

During the visit to Belgium, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended an audience with Her Majesty Queen Fabiola of Belgium at Château Stuyvenberg. Her Royal Highness afterwards opened the new building of the Royal Thai Embassy at Brussels, Kingdom of Belgium.

From Monday 12 to Wednesday 14 April 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Swiss Confederation.

By the Royal Command of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn represented His Majesty the King to chair the opening ceremony of the new building of L'Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande, Lausanne, Switzerland at the invitation of the Chairman of the School Alumni Association.  L 'Ecole Nouvelle de la Suisse Romande is the school where His Majesty King Anandha Mahidol (King Rama VIII) and His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej studied from 1935 to 1945.

From Saturday 3 to Friday 9 April 2010, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Beijing, Kunming, Lijiang, Chengdu and Mianyang, and visiting places of historical and cultural importance. Her Royal Highness afterwards presided over the opening ceremony of the "Sian Fueng Lu - Sirindhorn" Primary School in Mianyang which were funded by Her Royal Highness. Her Royal Highness also gave an audience with Mr Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
Besides, on Sunday 5 April 2010, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of the China Radio International (CRI) for International language service namely Thai, Indonesian, Burmese, and Vietnamese and the Opening Ceremony for the China-ASEAN CRI Online Website, at China World Hotel, Beijing, the People's Republic of China.

From Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 March 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to Myanmar at the invitation of the Government of Myanmar.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Assistance and Rehabilitation Project for the areas affected by the Cyclone Nargis in May 2008 in Irawaddy Region and Rangoon Region including the health care station in rural area, the hospital in the village, Kadong Kani School and the cyclone shelter centre. On Monday 15 March 2010, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn met with Senior-General Than Shwe, Chairman, the State Peace and Development Council (SPDC) and General Thiha Thura Tin Aung Myi, Secretary-1, SPDC who hosted the Dinner on the occasion of Her Royal Highness's visit to Myanmar. Besides, Her Royal Highness visited places of historical importances such as the Shwedagon Pagoda, the Uppatasanti Pagoda.

From 15 to 19 February 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn's visit to Bangladesh was as a member of the research team of Bloomberg School of Public Health of Johns Hopkins University, U.S.A. at the invitation of the Dean of Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the group visited the International Centre for Diarrhoeal Research, Bangladesh, at Dhaka, the JiVitA Office in Rangpur and its Head Office in Gaibandha, including the JiVitA Projects on maternal and child health and nutrition research project in Kumarer Bhita Village, Purbo (East) Kesali Danga Village and Uttar (North) Hat Bamni Village in Gaibandha and Rangpur.  Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Grameen Bank and met with Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of teh People's Republic of Bangladesh.

On Thursday 11 February 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn took the road trip from Ubon Ratchathani Province via Chong Mek Border to visit Champasak University, Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened the Integrated Agriculture Demonstration Farm Project (Polyculture Project) which is the cooperation between Chaipattana Foundation and Champasak University at Champasak University, Champasak Province, Lao People's Democratic Republic.

From 19 to 26 April 2008, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of Ghana at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the 12th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD XII) on the Theme "Addressing the Opportunities and Challenges of Globalization and Development" in Accra, Republic of Ghana on Thursday 24 February 2008. Her Royal Highness participated in the High-Level Roundtable 5 : "Harnessing Knowledge and Technology for Development" and delivered the Keynote Address on ICT as a Tool to Harness Knowledge and Technology for Sustainable Development.
In addition to the Conference, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has been to Kumasi in Ashanti Region, visiting the Manhyia Palace Museum, meeting with King Otumfuo Osei Tutu II and being greeted with the traditional "Durbar" welcoming ceremony. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn met with Mrs Theresa Kufuor, Wife of Mr John Kufuor, the President of the Republic of Ghana.
Other places of historical and educational inportance Her Royal Highness visited were teh Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi ; the National Museum of Ghana, the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park and Ghana Arts Centre in Accra ; Cape Coast Castle in Gape Coast, Central Region and the Elmina Castle, one of UNESCO's World Heritage. 

From 2 to 9 April 2008, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of the government of the People's Republic of China.

At Beijing, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences - GUCAS), the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences : CASS). Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards met with Mr Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political at the Great Hall of the People. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn also visitedQingdao, Dalian, Harbin,  and Baishan.  On 6 April 2008, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Harbin Institute of Technology and on this occasion, the Institute has bestowed the title of the Honorary Professor upon Her Royal Highness.

On Thursday 26 November 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a study visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn led the group of the Officials and the Fourth Year Class Cadets of Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy who study South East Asian History to pay an official study visit at the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Places of historical importance the group visited included Ho Chi Minh Museum, History of Military Museum, Revolution Museum, Vietnam Museum of Ethnology, Vietnam History Museum.

On Tuesday 8 December 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the People's Republic of China 

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the awards ceremony for the cyber-selection event "Chinese Connection - Top Ten International Friends of China" and received the Commemorative Medal from Mr Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, following by the Certificate from Mr Wang Taihua, Minister of the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. The event was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, People's Republic of China.
Besides, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the China Radio International and granted permission to the News Reporter of the China Radio International - Thai Language Service for an interview.

From 15 to 18 November 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the Republic of Philippines.

On 16 November 2009, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of the event to mark the 50th anniversary celebrations of the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI). Her Royal Highness afterwards presided over the opening ceremony of the 6th International Rice Genetics Symposium at the invitation of the Director of IRRI. In the evening, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn met with President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo who hosted a dinner for Her Royal Highness at the Malacañang Palace. On 17 November 2009, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the conferment ceremony at the University of Philippines at Los Baños to receive the Honorary Doctorates in Law from the University Chancellor.

From 23 to 27 August 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to Mongolia at the invitation to the President of Mongolia.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a courtesy call on Mr Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia who hosted a dinner for Her Royal Highness at Khan-Uul Palace of Ikh Tenger Complex. Her Royal Highness afterwards granted permission to Mr Sanjaa Bayar, Prime Minister of Mongolia.  Her Royal Highness visited the Secondary School of Altanbulak which is the pilot school for implementing the Children and Youth Development Project as initiated by Her Royal Highness at the request of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Museum, the villages and Khuvsgul National Park

From 17 to 21 August 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of India.

After arriving at Chennai, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Puducherry (formerly Pondicherry), one of the seven Union Territories of Tamil Nadu State, visiting Alliance Française (French Association), Institute Française de Pondicherry. Her Royal Highness also met with Mr Iqbal Singh, Lt. Governor of Puducherry who hosted a lunch for Her Royal Highness at the Government Office. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited École française d'Extrême-Orient : EFEO (French School of Asian Studies) and Puducherry Museum, On the second day, Her Royal Highness chaired the 42nd Jananpith Award Ceremony at the Parliament House, New Delhi. Her Royal Highness also hosted a dinner for Professor Satya Vrat Shastri, the Awardee at the Royal Thai Embassy in the evening. Her Royal Highness also visited National Gandhi Museum, Telecommunication Consultant India Co.,Ltd., and the archeaological site in New Delhi.

From 1 to 8 February 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of India

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the presiding ceremony of Delhi Sustainable Development Summit at New Delhi, Republic of India.

From 5 to 6 March 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Lao People's Democratic Republic. 

On 5 March 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Mr Bounnhang Vorachith, Vice President, Lao People's Democratic Republic presided over the inauguration of the rail service linking Tha Nalaeng Train Station in Laos and Nong Khai in Thailand. On 6 March 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and Mr Bounnhang Vorachith, Vice President, Lao People's Democratic Republic chaired the Foundation Stone Laying Ceremony for the 3rd Thai-Lao Friendship Bridge (Kham Muan-Nakorn Panom).

From 28 June to 4 July 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the 2009 Nobel Laureate Meeting at Lindau at the invitation of Chairperson of the Foundation Lindau Nobelprizewinners Meeting. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited the Bavarian State Library, Am Hoyerberg Kindergarten and Lindau Town Museum. On the third day of the trip, Her Royal Highness departed for Berlin to visit Ruhleben Wastewater Treatment Works, Biogas Plant, Otto Bock Science Center for Medical Technology, Adlershof Science and Technology Park. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Karlsruhe University which is renowned as one of the most strongly research-oriented universities in Germany.
 

From 3 to 10 April 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of the Government of China

During this visit to China, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn met with the Senior Officials of Peking University regarding the Cooperation Project between Thailand and China. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Chengdu, Sichuan.
On the auspicious occasion of Her Royal Highness's visit to Xi'an Jiaotong University on 7 April 2009, the University presented with Her Royal Highness the title of Honorary Professor of the University. Her Royal Highness afterwards presided over the opening of "Thailand Day" Event at Xiamen University and opened the " China Through the Eyes of Thai Princess" : the Exhibition of Photography by Her Royal Highness at the World Art Museum at the Millennium Monument, Beijing.

From 22 to 26 April 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of Singapore at the invitation of the President of Singapore.

During this visit, Her Royal Highness met with Mr S R Nathan, President of Singapore and the Spouse at the Istana, President Nathan afterwards hosted Her Royal Highness and her delegation to lunch. Her Royal Highness also met with Mr Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of Singapore. Her Royal Highness attended the International Conference on Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology (i-CREATe 2009) at Singapore Management University. Other places Her Royal Highness visited were Tan Tock Seng Hospital where Her Royal Highness witnessed the Signing Ceremony for the Co-operation between Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Sirindhorn National Medical Rehabilitation Center, Society for the Physically Disabled. The other day, Her Royal Highness visited the Urban Redevelopment Authority, Singapore Botanic Gardens, Marina Barrage and Peranakan Museum.
 

From 15 to 21 March 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid the State Visit to the Swiss Confederation and the French Republic.

During the Visit to the French Republic, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Civaux Nuclear Power Plant, and Paris Fashion and Textile Museum. On 19 March 2009, Her Royal Highness will be conferred an Honorary Doctorate from the French School of the Far East (The École française d'Extrême-Orient - EFEO) Her Royal Highness afterwards attended the "Dvaravati Art: Aspects of Archeological Research in Thailand" Seminar at Guimet Museum of Arts, Paris.

From 15 to 21 March 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Swiss Confederation and the French Republic.

During the Visit to the Swiss Confederation, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) to observe the organization operations in Geneva. Her Royal Highness afterwards graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the Thai Pavilion at Lausanne on 17 March 2009.
 

From 21 to 24 July 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the People's Republic of China.

During the visit, Her Royal Highness visited Fudan University, Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, the site of the World Exposition Shanghai China 2010 , Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Lenovo PC Manufacturer, and Shanghai Stock Market. Her Royal Highness later watched the solar eclipse at City Beach, Jinshan District, Shanghai Municipality.
