Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn translated Where the Future Begins written by Amadou - Mahtar M'Bow, a Senegalese Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) during 1974 - 1987, under a pseudonym-Bandan.
Where the Future Begins reflects the world society in both decent and decadent ways. They are about politics, economics, society, and culture. The auther presents these problems in chapters such as environment and natural resources, questions about decency, cultural identity, and uncertainty and values revival.
