'.5.' | 29 June 2009 00:00:00 | From Sunday 28 June to Saturday 4 July 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany to attend the 2009 Nobel Laureate Meeting at Lindau, Germany.
Her Royal Highness attended the Opening Ceremony of the 59th Meeting of Nobel Laureates at Inselhalle Convention Centre, Lindau at the invitation of the President of the Council and the Foundation for the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, attended the lecture sessions of the Laureates, and attended a dinner in honour of the Nobel Laureates at Lindau City Hall. Her Royal Highness also visited the Young Researchers' Home Project at Lindau, and visited the Bavarian State Library, Am Hoyerberg Kindergarten, Ruhleben Wastewater Treatment Works in Berlin, the Biogas Plant in Brandenburg, Otto Bock Science Centre for Medical Technology, Adlershof Science and Techonology Park, Karlsruhe University. Her Royal Highness afterwards attended the "Sustainability and Climate Change" Meeting with the attendees of the 59th Nobel Laureates Meeting, and attended the Closing Ceremony of the aforementioned event before returning to Thailand. | |
