From Tuesday 21 to Friday 24 July 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to the People's Republic of China.
   During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Shanghai Municipality, visiting the old town area, the site of the World Exposition Shanghai China 2010, Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, Fudan University, the Shanghai Su Choeng Bookstore, Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Lenovo Computer Company, and Shanghai Stock Exchange. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn also observed the Solar Eclipse at the City Beach in Jinshan District, observing the Haining Tide at Yangtze River Delta and afterwards seeing the local community of Shanghai Municipality.
