Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened the 14th "In Commemoration of The Princess Mother" at Siam Discovery Shopping Centre, Pathumwan District.

  By the Royal Command of His Majesty the King, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn represented His Majesty the King in granting permission to Mr Wichit Seng-haphan, Chairman, Department of Science, Anandha Mahidol Foundation adn Mrs Nalin Nil-ubol, Committee and Secretary, Department of Science, Anandha Mahidol Foundation to call upon Mr Sakul Oun-arunothai who received  the 2004 Anandha Mahidol Foundation Scholarship in the Department of Science and graduated in Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois, U.S.A. to attend an audience with Her Royal Highness and presenting the education report and thesis to Her Royal Highness at Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Villa.

  By the Royal Command of His Majesty the King, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn represented His Majesty the King in granting permission to Mr Sathit Wong-nong-toey, Minister attached to the Prime Minister's Office as the Vice President of the National Identity Committee to call upon the persons and representatives of the organization who received the 2010 Achievement Awards to attend the audience with Her Royal Highness and to receive the Awards from Her Royal Highness at Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Villa.

By the Royal Command of His Majesty the King, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn represented His Majesty the King in granting permission to General Wanchai Ruangtrakul, Chairman, the 2009 Father's Day committee to call upon the committee of the event to present the income derived from the event to His Majesty the King for charity at the discretion of His Majesty the King, at Dusidalai Hall, Chitralada Villa. Also attended the audience and presented the money was Mrs Malinee Phukayaphorn, Vice Chairman of the event.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards granted permission to 10 groups of people to attend the audiences with Her Royal Highness at Dusidalai Hall, Chitralada Villa.
  - Mr Chinnaworn Boonyakiat, Minister of Education and colleagues presented Her Royal Highness with the sacred foundation stone for the anoitment before proceeding to the foundation stone laying ceremony of the "Chalerm Raj Kumari" Public Library, Muang Uttradit District, Uttradit Province which is the 91th "Chalerm Raj Kumari" Public Library.
  - Khun Ying Rose Baribarnburiphan, Advisory Chairman, SOS Foundation of Thailand under the Royal Patronage along with Khun Ying Jinda Charoongcharoenvej presented Her Royal Highness with the money of Miss Phasana Suwansatien, the former treasury of the foundation for charity at the discretion of Her Royal Highness.
  - Khun Ying Phannee Kanchanawasit, Chairperson, Khun Ying Phannee Kanchanawasit Foundation called upon the committee of the Foundation to present Her Royal Highness with the money as donation made for Chaipattana Foundation and Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Foundation.
  - Major General Naren Siriphubal, Chairman, the Committee of the Class of 32, Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy Cadet and colleagues presented Her Royal Highness with the incomes derived from the Princess Trophy shooting competition and the amulet conservation contest as donation made for Sai Jai Thai Foundation under the Royal Patronage.
  - Mr Phongsakorn Phong-watanasuk, Chairman, Ovaltin for Thai Youth Foundation called upon the committee of the Foundation and Mr Alex King, Managing Director, A.B. Food and Beverage (Thailand) Co.,Ltd. to present Her Royal Highness with the income derived from the booth sales in the 2010 Red Cross Fair as donation made for Thai Red Cross Society.
  - Mr Sanit Yencham, Mayor, Pho Thong Sub-district, Ang Thong Province and colleagues presented Her Royal Highness with the money for charity at the discretion of Her Royal Highness.
  - Mr Manoon Mookpradit, Deputy Secretary-General, Chaipattana Foundation called upon the Executives of PTT Chemical Public Company Ltd. to present Her Royal Highness with the pvc sack with wing for use in the activities of Chaipattana Foundation.
  - Mr Wallop Chiarawanont, Vice President, Charoen Phokaphan Group called upon the committee of the "Charoen Phokaphand Group supporting the blood donation of Thai Youths" Project to present Her Royal Highness with the progress of the Project and also calling upon the winners of the Project publication to receive the plague from Her Royal Highness as a mark of honour. 
  - Associate Professor Dr Sittichai Tudsri, D.D.S., M.D., Vice President, Chulalongkorn University and the working committee of the land development of Chulalongkorn University's land in Saraburi Province called upon the committee of Siam Kubota Corporation Co.,Ltd. to present Her Royal Highness with the Kubota tractor and the essential appliances for the use in Chulalongkorn University's land development in Saraburi Province.
  - Mrs Chintana Sa-nguanphuak, Secretary of Isuzu Group Foundation called upon the committee of the Foundation to present Her Royal Highness with the Isuzu truck for giving to the Descendants of Phradabot Project, Samut Prakarn Province.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened the World Food Day 2010 on the theme of "United Against Hunger" at the Regional Office for the Asia and Pacific, Food and Agriculture Organization, Phra Nakorn District.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn returned to Thailand after completing the visits to Japan and the Republic of Chile.

From Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 October 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to Japan, and from Thursday 14 to Monday 18 October 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri SIrindhorn will pay an official visit to the Republic of Chile.

During the trip to Japan, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn chaired the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of Nalandha University at Kobe at the invitation of the President of the Buddhism Summit. Her Royal Highness afterwards attended an audience with the Emperor and Empress of Japan at the Imperial Palace, Tokyo, on 12 October 2010.

During the trip to the Republic of Chile, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will preside over the opening ceremony of the 1st Latin America Conference of  Vetiver at San Tiago at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile and the President of the Vetiver Network International. Besides, Her Royal Highness would also visit various places of historical and architectural importance, and also chairing the opening ceremony of the Thailand Plaza Park as a commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence of the Republic of Chile and as a mark of the international relations between Thailand and Chile.
