From Sunday 10 to Wednesday 13 October 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to Japan, and from Thursday 14 to Monday 18 October 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri SIrindhorn will pay an official visit to the Republic of Chile. During the trip to Japan, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn chaired the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of Nalandha University at Kobe at the invitation of the President of the Buddhism Summit. Her Royal Highness afterwards attended an audience with the Emperor and Empress of Japan at the Imperial Palace, Tokyo, on 12 October 2010. During the trip to the Republic of Chile, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will preside over the opening ceremony of the 1st Latin America Conference of Vetiver at San Tiago at the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Chile and the President of the Vetiver Network International. Besides, Her Royal Highness would also visit various places of historical and architectural importance, and also chairing the opening ceremony of the Thailand Plaza Park as a commemoration of the Bicentennial of the Independence of the Republic of Chile and as a mark of the international relations between Thailand and Chile. |
