From Sunday 11 to Wednesday 14 December 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid the Royal Visit to the People's Republic of Bangladesh at the invitation of the Minister of Primary and Mass Education, the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

During this trip, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to observe the progress of the Learning Centre on His Majesty the King's Sufficiency Economy Philosophy under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at the Horticulture Development Centre, Bangladesh Agriculture Development Corporation as well as the Development of Children in Bangladesh Project under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Mariali Government Primary School and Azampur Government Primary School. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards visited the Herbaria Forest Station and the Sundarbans National Park. On Tuesday 13 December 2011 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn granted an audience to the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
