Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an visit to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, People's Republic of China from Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 April 2012.

From Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 April 2012 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a visit to Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, People's Republic of China. During this visit, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence, Lingnan University where Her Royal Highness being conferred with the Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) in recognition of Her Royal Highness's long-term commitment to and outstanding achievements in promoting cultural, social and environmental development in Thailand and other parts of the world. Her Royal Highness afterwards delivered the keynote speech on the Thai-Chinese relations at the invitation of the President of the Asia-Hong Kong Association, visiting the University of Hong Kong and the Museum of Arts.
