Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn had attended the recent annual medical check-up at Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, the doctors found the calcium deposits in the chest. Her Royal Highness therefore rested at the hospital on Sunday 16 December 2012 and underwent the surgical removal of calcium deposits in the chest on Monday 17 December 2012 according to the doctors' advice. The deposits were successfully removed. After the operation, Her Royal Highness was in good health with normal body temperature. A pathology examination also showed no evidence of cancer. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn will rest in the hospital for the time being.
