Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the Russian Federation from 30^th September to 8^th October, B.E.2560 (2017).

During this trip, Her Royal Highness observed the operations and activities of leading higher eduational institutions, secondary schools as well as vocational education institutions and centers in the Russian Federation where best practices have been achieved and progress made in the field of technological science. Moreover, Her Royal Highness visited places of interest in Moscow and St. Petersburg such as the Grand Kremlin Palace, the Komarov Botanical Institute, Peterhof Palace, St. Isaac's Cathedral, and the Hermitage Museum. Her Royal Highness also saw Khon Performance to be held at the Mariinsky Theatre on the occasion of the 120^th Anniversary of Thailand - Russia Diplomatic Relations. On this visit, Her Royal Highness granted an audience to Mrs. Valentina Ivanovna Matvienko, Chairperson of the Council of the Federation, who hosted a luncheon in honour of Her Royal Highness.
