Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a Royal Visit to the French Republic from 19 to 23 November, B.E.2561 (2018). Her Royal Highness departed from Suvarnabhumi Airport, Samut Prakan Province, by Thai Airways International Public Company Limited flight number TG 930.

During this trip, Her Royal Highness presided over the Opening Ceremony of the International Conference on "Cultural crossroads: Interconnectedness of languages, culture and education" and of the Exhibition "Her Late Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana: The Humanitarian" in recognition of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajanagarindra's contributions in the field of education at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations in Paris. in additional, Her Royal Highness witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology (TINT) and ITER International Fusion Energy Organization at the ITER Organization Headquarters in Saint-Paul-lèz-Durance. Her Royal Highness also visited various places of interest such as the Guimet National Museum of Asian Arts, the National Museum of Natural History, the Quay Branly - Jacques Chirac Museum, the Institute for Magnetic Fusion Research: IRFM, French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission: CEA, and the Museum of the Civilizations of Europe and the Mediterranean.
