Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn opened the photo exhibition "Mother of the Nation" in honour of Her Majesty the Queen on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty the Queen's 80th Birthday Anniversary 12 August 2012 at Siam Paragon Shopping Centre, Pathumwan District.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn planted the rice in the demonstration paddy field at Chulachomklao Royal Military Acedemy, Mueng Nakhon Nayok District, Nakhon Nayok Province.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, on behalf of His Majesty the King, graciously granted permission to Associate Professor Veterinarian Songkhram Luengthongkham, chairperson, veterinary department, Ananda Mahidol Foundation together with Associate Professor Veterinarain Somchai Phongchanyakul, committee of the department and  Associate Professor Veterinarian Parnthep Ratanakorn, dean, faculty of veterinary, Mahidol University to call upon Veterinarian Wachira Hoonprasith,
who received the 2011 Ananda Mahidol Foundation scholarship in veterinary department and Veterinarian Kraiphit Sudharmmaphorn, who received the 2012 Swedish Government scholarship  to attend an audience with Her Royal Highness before departing to further their studies in U.S.A. and in Sweden respectively.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, opened the "Thai Ladies Day 2012" at Impact exhibition and convention centre, Mueng Thong Thani, Pakkred District, Pathumthani Province.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, on behalf of His Majesty the King, graciously granted permission to Assistant Professor Mathana Harnwanit, MD and Professor Wanchai Wanachiwanawin, committee, department of medicine, Ananda Mahidol Foundation to call upon Ms Srisakul Chirakanchanakorn, MD, who received the 2012 Ananda Mahidol Foundation scholarship to attend an audience with Her Royal Highness before departing to further studies at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, U.S.A.
