From 19 to 26 April 2008, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the Republic of Ghana at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Ghana.
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the 12th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD XII) on the Theme "Addressing the Opportunities and Challenges of Globalization and Development" ; Her Royal Highness participated in the High-Level Roundtable 5 : "Harnessing Knowledge and Technology for Development" and delivered the Keynote Address on ICT as a Tool to Harness Knowledge and Technology for Sustainable Development.
