Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn attended the 2009 Chulalongkorn University Alumni Party at the Courtyard afront the Monument to King Rama V and King Rama VI, Chulalongkorn University.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening of the 37th National Book Fair and the 7th International Book Fair. Winners of the 2009 Book Contest also attended the audiences with Her Royal Highness to receive the awards, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre, Klong Toey District.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn chaired the 92th Anniversary of Chulalongkorn University, placing the Royal Floral Tributes at the Monument to King Rama V and King Rama VI, followed by presenting food to the monks, at Chulalongkorn University, Pathumwan District.
Her Royal Highness afterwards granted permission to Professor Pirom Kamolratanakul, M.D., President, to call upon the representatives of Chulalongkorn University Council, the Executives, Lecturers, Alumni and students to express their wishes to Her Royal Highness and to present the books to Her Royal Highness on the occasion of Her Royal Highness Birthday Anniversary 2 April 2009. Also being presented to Her Royal Highness was the certificates of land, money and the pin as a mark of honour for CU Alumni from the Chulalongkorn University Alumni Association.
Afterwards, winners of the Charity Golf Tournament attended an audience with Her Royal Highness to receive the Trophy, followed by working team of the "Klai Baan" Documentaries receiving the commemorative coins. ("Klai Baan" is the historical documentaries based on the writings of King Rama V)

In the afternoon, Her Royal Highness opened the "Russian Studies Centre of Chulalongkorn University" and looked at the exhibition of the Centre. Her Royal Highness afterwards laid the foundation stone of the Research and Development Building of the Faculty of Veterinary, Chulalongkorn University.
