Her Royal Highness afterwards presided over the opening of 2009 Red Cross Fair hosted by Thai Red Cross Society which is a volunteer-led humanitarian organization that helps people in crisis without discrimination.

'.3.' | 30 March 2009 10:15:00 | Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted permission to Assistant Professor Pornthip Pookphasuk, Chairman, Chula Arts Alumni Association under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to call upon the 18th Committee and the Advisor of Chula Arts Alumni Association to attend the audience with Her Royal Highness before taking up the post and to present the activity of the Association to Her Royal Highness. On this occasion, 2007 Outstanding Alumni was also called upon to receive the Golden "Phra Kieo" Award (The Golden Emblem of Kind Rama V's Crown) from Her Royal Highness, at Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Villa.

- Mr Manoon Mookpradit, Deputy Secretary-General, Chaipattana Foundation called upon 2 groups of people to attend the audiences with Her Royal Highness as follows :
1. Mr Ouy Chanchalerm and Mr Niyom Tipyakomol presented the certificates of the land at Bang Sao Thong Sub-district, Bangkok Noi District, Bangkok to Her Royal Highness for giving for use in Chaipattana Foundation.
2. Mr Chitr Thanyalukpark and colleagues presented income derived from the 2007 "Narathip Day" for use in Chaipattana Foundation.
