| 04 April 2010 00:00:00 | From Saturday 3 to Friday 9 April 2010 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to the People's Republic of China at the invitation of the Government of the People's Republic of China. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Beijing, Kunming, Lijiang, Chengdu and Mianyang, and visiting places of historical and cultural importance. Her Royal Highness afterwards presided over the opening ceremony of the "Sian Fueng Lu - Sirindhorn" Primary School in Mianyang which were funded by Her Royal Highness. Her Royal Highness also gave an audience with Mr Jia Qinglin, Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. |
