Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid a private visit to the Yaowarat 2011 Chinese New Year at the China Town Gate in honour of His Majesty the King's 72th Birthday Anniversary, Samphanthawong District.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted permission to Professor Kua Wongboonsin, Chairman, the promotion of learning science and mathematics in school project, Chulalongkorn University and the committee of the project to attend an audience with Her Royal Highness and to receive the guidance of selecting the appropriate school for the "Bannasa Sompote" Award, at Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Villa.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted permission to Professor Sutthiphorn Chitmittapharb, MD, Secretary-General, National Research Council and colleagues to call upon Mr Choi jong-hyub, President, Korea Invention Promotion Association as the representative of the International Federation of Inventors Association to present Her Royal Highness with the Arpad Bogsch Memory Medal as a mark of honour for Her Royal Highness's royal duties in multi-disciplines such as education, social development and public health, at Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Villa.

  - Professor Sakda Siriphan, Secretary-General, The Promotion of Academic Olympiads and Development of Science Education Foundation under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyni Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajnagarindra called upon the representatives from Bai Boon Multimedia adn Service Co.,Ltd. to present Her Royal Highness with the HITACHI STAR BOARD education appliances for use in the work related to the Foundation.
  - Mr Chatchai Piyasombatkul, Managing Director, Metro Particle Co.,Ltd. presented Her Royal Highness with the money as the contribution to the Fund for the Development of Children and Youths in Remote Areas for the construction of Baan Nong Doo Border Patrol Police School, Na Nai Sub-district, Phone Sawan District, Nakhorn Phanom Province.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted permission to Mr Nonthikorn Kanchanachitra, Secretary-General, Office of the Civil Service Commission (OCSC) and the executives of the National Science and Technology Development Agency, Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute, Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency, Synchrotron Light Research Institute and National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand to call upon the students who received the 2010 scholarship as the collaboration between the OCSC and the Graduate Office of the University of Chinese Academy of Science to attend the audiences with Her Royal Highness at Chaipattana Buillding, Chitralada Villa before departing for their further education in the doctorate degrees :
   1. Mr Pheera Yomawan, to further study in the remote sensing.
   2. Mr Thee Chaowanontapanya, to further study in mechanical engineering.
   3. Miss Ninnate Asawasirichinda, to further study in microbiology.
