By the Royal Command of His Majesty the King, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn represented His Majesty the King in granting permission to Mr Niphit Indrasombat, Minister of Culture to call upon the 2010 National Artists (10 awardees this year) to attend an audience with Her Royal Highness to receive the plaques and pins as a mark of honour.
Also on this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn granted permission to Mr Chuan Leekphai, who has been honoured as the "Thanandra Silapin" for his contribution in supporting the establishment of the National Artists project in 1984 to attend an audience with Her Royal Highness to receive the pin of the Ministry of Culture as a mark of honour.
