Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted permission to Mr Sunthorn Arunanontchai, President, Ek-Chai Distribution System Ltd. and colleagues to present Her Royal Highness with the money as contribution made for the fund for the flood-affected people relief programme, at Chaipattana Building, Chitralada Villa.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn afterwards chaired the 2012 Ordinary Meeting of the Promotion of Academic Olympiads and Development of Science Education Foundation under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Galyani Vadhana Krom Luang Naradhiwas Rajnagarindra.
