Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening ceremony of "Discovery Museum of Tropical Diseases" at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University, Ratchathewi District.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn returned from the Official Visits to the People's Republic of China and the Kyrgyz Republic from 4^th to 11^th April, B.E.2559 (2016). Her Royal Highness returned by Air Astana flight number KC 931, arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport, Samut Prakan Province.

During the Visit to the People's Republic of China, Her Royal Highness presided over the Opening Ceremony of the "Vernacular and Heritage International Symposium: What did Liang Sicheng Miss at Mount Wutai" to be held at the Tsinghua University, and visited the Center for Research on Ancient Chinese History at Peking University. Her Royal Highness also presided over and witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on Polar Science Research under the Memorandum of Understanding between Chinese Arctic and Antarctic Administration and the National Science and Technology Development Agency of Thailand. In addition, Her Royal Highness granted an audience to His Excellency Mr. Li Yuanchao, Vice President of the People's Republic of China, and to His Excellency Mr. Zhang Dejiang, Chairman of the National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China.

During the Visit to the Kyrgyz Republic, Her Royal Highness received the title of Honorary Professor of the Kyrgyz National University in Bishkek. Moreover, Her Royal Highness visited various places of the importance such as the Museum of Fine Arts, the Ala Acha National Park, the Przhevalsky Museum and the Ruh Ordo Cultural Centre. On the occasion of this visit, Her Royal Highness also met with His Excellency Mr. Almazbek Atambaev, President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Mrs. Raisa Atambaeva at the President's Residence.
