From Sunday 23 to Thursday 27 August 2009 Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn paid an official visit to Mongolia at the invitation to the President of Mongolia.
During this trip, Her Royal Highness visited the Altanbulag School which is the pilot school for implementing the Children and Youth Development Project as initiated by Her Royal Highness at the request of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia. Her Royal Highness afterwards visited Khuvsgul National Park, International Intellectual Museum, the villages and watched their cultural performance. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn met with Mr Tsakhia Elbegdorj, President of Mongolia who hosted a dinner in Her Royal Highness's honour, at Khan-Uul Palace of Ikh Tenger Complex on 24 August 2009, and also met with Mr Sanjaa Bayar, Prime Minister of Mongolia who hosted a dinner in Her Royal Highness's honour, at Marshal Palace on 26 August 2009.
